Data we process
Account: your email address (passwordless login via one-time code).
Usage: analyzed songs, history, setlists, favorites, ratings, private edits, level/progress.
Uploads: audio files you upload (private unless you share them).
Third-party services
YouTube (Google) — playback via IFrame player and search.
Apify — fetches the audio of a YouTube link you provide for analysis (only the video URL is sent).
Supabase — database, auth, storage (own instance).
Ollama Cloud — AI processing (song structure, lyrics cleanup, translations).
Email relay — login codes and notifications.
CDN (cdn.findmychords.com) — delivery of derived files.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection (GDPR Art. 15–21). Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact: [privacy@findmychords.com].
Self-service: in your profile under “Privacy & data” you can at any time download all your data as a JSON file (access & portability, Art. 15 and 20) and permanently delete your account (erasure, Art. 17). Deletion immediately removes your account, your uploads and their audio files, and all personal data.
Retention
Data is deleted once it is no longer needed for the stated purposes, or when you delete your account (see “Your rights”).
